On June 3, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will officially lose its status as a PlayStation 5 exclusive to arrive on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2. This move follows the successful multi – platform debut of the trilogy’s first installment, which earned significant praise for its technical stability and high – quality optimization on these systems.

Expansion details and accessibility

To prepare for the full release, Square Enix is now offering a comprehensive demo version for both the Microsoft console and the new Nintendo handheld.

While the Xbox trial is easily accessible via the Microsoft Store, players on the Japanese device must utilize specific regional codes within the eShop:

  • European region – D3GM3304HQ5BBMVB

The demo allows users to experience the first two chapters of the story while exploring all fundamental gameplay mechanics. All progress will seamlessly carry over to the retail version upon purchase, and those who complete the trial will be rewarded with special in – game items.
