Players are Finally Getting a Full New World: Aeternum Release
Amazon is finally putting some action back into New World’s franchise for both PC and console players. The New World Aeternum open beta has gotten the official release date, joining players from both PC and console platforms worldwide for the first time across America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific.
Do you want even better news? The full cross-play is also supported. Mark your calendars for September 13, 2024, because that is when the open beta will kick off, running until September 16, 2024, with pre-loading starting on September 11, 2024.
During the open beta, gamers can test all the new features of New World: Aeternum before the full release comes out on October 15, 2024. You will be able to explore the brand new world (no pun intended) of the game, and boost the experience up to the 30th level. You’ll earn new mounts, test out new arenas, and even get a sneak peek at some new expeditions. All the progress from the beta can be transferred to the full version on the release date in October.
Just like with Diablo 4 patch notes the beta version of New World Aeternum will help the developers to fix the critical bugs before the final release on October 15, 2024.
What To Expect from Open Beta of New World: Aeternum?
Earlier this summer, Amazon announced the brand new version of New World with the sub-heading “Aeternum”. The previously PC-exclusive MMORPG by Amazon got a lot of content, graphics updates, and a console port with cross-play. For most of 2024, the dev team was working on the console version, leaving PC content on the back burner. Making matters worse, Amazon attempts to rebrand the game, sweeping its origin of being an MMORPG under the rug, further antagonizing PC players. So this is a brand new game as a result, take it or leave it.
