After a long string of development delays, Yacht Club Games is finally ready to show the world what Mina can do. The wait for the studio’s next big adventure is nearly at its end.
First announced four years ago, this retro pixel-art title stars a charming mouse navigating a monster-filled underworld. Channeling the classic aesthetic of Game Boy-era Legend of Zelda titles, it quickly became one of the industry’s most anticipated indies. Fans can now mark May 29 on their calendars – just 23 days from today – with the price set at 20 dollars.
The developer confirmed the news via social media, pairing the announcement with a fresh video teaser. Highlighting both the release window and the cost, the studio invited players to prepare for the journey.

In Mina The Hollower, the titular heroine is shipwrecked on a haunted island overrun by ghosts and goblins. Players will have to choose between various weapons and special abilities as they follow Mina’s quest to save the cursed land she is stranded on.
This project marks the first brand-new internal intellectual property from Yacht Club Games since they released Shovel Knight in 2014. That game became a massive hit, spawning a whole franchise of friends and enemies for the iconic blue knight.
The game is set to launch on May 29 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Switch 2. While pre-orders are not yet open, the studio suggests that interested fans add the title to their Steam wishlists now.
