System Shock 2 Re-release Date To Be Announced At Future Games Show

The game was announced 5 years ago, but there is still no release. That’s not right! The developers from Nightdive Studios have pleased impatient gamers with great news: on March 20, we will finally find out the exact release date of System Shock 2! And this will happen at Future Games Show: Spring Showcase.

By the way, the developers announced a rebranding: now the game will be called System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. Additionally, they expanded the list of target platforms, so now you can play on last-generation consoles and even on Nintendo Switch.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is being created on the studio’s own KEX Engine. What’s new in the game?

  2. Improved graphics
  3. Bug and error fixes.
  4. Updated co-op mode.
  5. Support for ultra-wide monitors, controllers, custom mods and achievements.
