A new archetype is unlocked – the Ritualist, who can make enemies vulnerable to damage from effects.
His main technique, Perfidy, makes enemies more vulnerable to damage from effects, and when they die, they spread the effects to other enemies.
With Eruption, the Ritualist explodes surrounding enemies and deals additional damage to those affected by the effect.
Miasma instantly applies bleeding, burning, reset, and corrosion to all enemies in the radius of action.
Death Instinct curses the Ritualist themselves. Blocks standard healing and constantly takes away HP, increasing damage.
Plot
The atmosphere is gloomy, reminiscent of Dark Souls 3. In this DLC you will have to fight a tree-like monster – the True King. This creature was in a long hibernation. During his sleep, the sinister Root took possession of the mind of the True King, distorting it. Now the True King has awakened, but he is not who he was before. He sees his enemy and traitor in everyone. The True King longs to be obeyed. Together with the monster, a cursed castle appears. The weather around changes and new creatures appear. The entire plot of Remnant 2 DLC: The Awakened King is based on the fact that you must find the True King and destroy him.
Remnant 2: How To Start The Awakened King DLC
- In Ward 13, go to the world stone and interact with it.
- Select the World Settings.
- Players with the adventure mode active should select “Reroll adventure mode”. The option – “The Awakened King” will appear. At this point, select the difficulty in the game. Select Losomn on the world map.

Remnant 2 DLC 2 adds the Invoker archetype. You harness the power of the nature spirits of Yaesha and command the strength of the jungle.
Using elemental spells, the Invoker can strengthen allies, slow enemies, and strike them with lightning. Characters of this class have access to firearms, so if you run out of magical energy, you will remain an effective fighter.
New locations: Barbaric Swamps and the Forgotten Kingdom.
New enemies: Horned Warriors, Isolated, and Mantis Queen.
New weapons and armor.
New boss: Mantis Queen.
Plot
In Remnant 2 DLC 2 the plot is quite simple. Our goal is to restore the memory of the lost ancient tribe of Yaesha. The main antagonist of the add-on is the vengeful wrath of an ancient stone spirit named Lydusa. Beware of the living stones of this evil spirit: they are thirsty for blood. Try to survive and create a semblance of peace in this post-apocalyptic Forgotten Kingdom.

What’s New?
New items, weapons, bosses, and creatures have been added. In the best traditions of DLC, a new archetype Warden has been added again. Your weapon will be a drone.
Here are some of the Warden’s abilities:
Dynamic – helps automatically restore the shield and significantly increase the basic reserve of N’erud energy for the drone and turret.
Drone-Defender. Grants a targeted ally a shield, the durability of which gradually increases to 100%, and slightly reduces the damage they receive.
Drone-Healer. Heals a targeted ally until it restores all of their health. In passive mode, this drone increases the speed of using the relic.
Combat Drone. While he has energy, he attacks any threat near the target ally.
Class Talent: “Barrier” – Increases the effectiveness of shields used by the Warden. This boost works even if the shield is covering an ally.
Along with the DLC, a free update was released with a new Boss Rush mode, in which players must defeat hordes of corrupted enemies and then fight the main bosses.
The mode provides three difficulty levels: Triple Threat with three bosses, Trial by Fire with seven, and Obstacle Course with twenty.
Plot
