NetEase proudly announced in its financial report that the number of players who have played Marvel Rivals has now exceeded 40 million. The game has reached this record in almost 3 months since its release.
The company also stated that about 10 million users were registered in the first 3 days. In December, the game took the leading positions in the Steam sales chart, and in January it returned to the top thanks to the release of the first season.
The reporting document also states that in the fourth quarter, total revenue from video games and related services at NetEase increased by 1.5% to $2.9 billion. For the whole year, the figure reached $11.5 billion. In the 2023 fiscal year, revenue amounted to $11.2 billion. 96.2% of revenue came from online entertainment only.
