The creators of Call of Duty and Battlefield have prepared something tasty for us.
Independent studio Legion released an official trailer in which it presented its new project – a first-person game called Covenant.
According to the description, the project is an “FPS-soulslike” with elements of metroidvania in the world of dark fantasy, where in addition to the story campaign, a cooperative mode with PvP support is declared.
The main character (aka “Messenger”) is a warrior angel who fulfills the will of the Creators. “Messenger” follows the path of his predecessor in order to understand why he died. Also, the main character will have to uncover the great secret of the universe. What awaits us in Covenant? The developers assure that we will see a large world with locations connected to each other, complex battles with bosses and, of course, puzzles. We should also expect a large selection of weapons and abilities.
At the moment, Covenant is aimed only at PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It is not yet known when the game will be released. Covenant currently only supports English.
