On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, the Trixel Creative team published a trailer for a new game called Restitched on YouTube. This is a 2.5D platformer that allows you to edit levels. The title Restitched is very similar to the LittleBigPlanet games, so for those who missed this style, the game will appeal to you.
You will play as a cute teddy bear named Stuffy. He wants to know where he came from. During his exciting travels, Stuffy will meet new friends and fight enemies. Well, like in all games 🙂
The bear has many skills to overcome all the obstacles in his path. For example, Stuffy can crawl and climb bars, interact with objects (pull and push), and also swing on ropes made of threads like Tarzan. The teddy bear’s enemies will be in trouble: he skillfully controls a sharp needle, so beware, antagonists!
It’s funny that Stuffy can be dressed in fairy or cat costumes. The bear is a fairy, funny 🙂
In addition to the plot, Restitched has levels created by the community. You can assemble your stages in the built-in editor, and then share them through the Steam Workshop. According to the developers, the locations from the campaign were created using the tools from the game itself and, among other things, serve as a demonstration of its capabilities. In the trailer, this component was highlighted in a separate segment.
